I build and lead data teams. My work spans data engineering, analytics engineering, machine learning, and data governance — turning data into a reliable operational asset across Finance, Operations, and Product.
I’m Director of Data at GoStudent, where I run the group-wide data function. I also teach as an Adjunct Professor at IE School of Science and Technology — voted Best Professor 2022, 2023, and 2024.
Lead the group-wide data function — Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Machine Learning, and Data Insights across multiple business units. Defined the company-wide data strategy and consolidated the stack around dbt Cloud, Redshift, and a governed semantic layer that serves as the single source of truth for both humans and AI agents.
Built and scaled the analytics function in a high-growth e-commerce scale-up with complex operations across ERPs, marketplaces, and ad platforms. Designed the data models, forecasting, and dashboards that became the operational source of truth for the business.
Built a 16-person multidisciplinary data team from scratch — engineers, analysts, and data scientists — and defined the data and AI strategy for the organization. Owned hiring, org design, onboarding, and delivery.
Founded and led the Advanced Analytics team in a high-complexity energy trading environment. Deployed ML models that generated roughly €1M/year in measurable business value, partnering with trading leadership and Risk.
Managed daily and intraday trading strategies in the Spanish power market — my entry point into quantitative, data-driven decision-making.
Adjunct Professor at IE School of Science and Technology since January 2020, teaching in the Master in Business Analytics and Data Science (MBADS). Voted Best Professor in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
